PMI OKC Volunteer Event: Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma

Join the PMI Oklahoma City Chapter for a meaningful opportunity to give back to our local community by volunteering at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma Volunteer Center.

Volunteers will assist with a variety of hands-on activities that support hunger relief efforts across Oklahoma. Depending on the Food Bank’s current needs, activities may include sorting and packing food items, assembling Food for Kids Backpack Program sacks, preparing meals, tagging bags, and supporting food distribution programs that serve children, seniors, and families throughout the state.

This event provides a great opportunity to connect with fellow PMI OKC members while making a direct impact in our community through service and teamwork.

Please note that PMI OKC has reserved only 20 volunteer spots for this event. Registration will be available on a first come, first serve basis until all spots are filled.

Important Volunteer Information:

  • Volunteers should enter through the Volunteer Center entrance, not the main entrance. Please look for the double doors located toward the north end of the building with the Volunteer Center sign.
  • Volunteers who arrive more than 30 minutes late will not be permitted to participate.
  • The minimum volunteer age is 8 years old. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Some volunteer activities may take place in cooler environments, including Hope’s Kitchen, where temperatures may be approximately 55 degrees. Please dress accordingly.
  • For PMI PDU's, this is self-reported under 'Other Giving Back' by PMI Credential holders. There is no PDU code for this event. 
  • Deadline to sign up for volunteering is July 30th, 2026 at 12 PM CST.

By participating in a PMI OKC event or by failing to notify PMI OKC, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by PMI OKC, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify PMI OKC from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Any person or organization not affiliated with PMI OKC may not use, copy, alter or modify PMI OKC photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from PMI OKC.
